You are ready
if …

You want to finally draw — and stop saying one day.

You believe you cannot draw and have always quietly wondered whether that is actually true.

You want to make something beautiful — something that feels like it came from you, not from a tutorial.

You want a creative outlet but have never found one that felt genuinely yours.

You want to feel less stuck — creatively, or simply in the pace of daily life.

You want an hour that is entirely yours — and something real on paper to show for it.

Six sessions.
Six senses.
One creative awakening.

Format 6 pre-recorded sessions — begin wherever you feel like, watch at your own pace

Discovering the Seat of Creativity

You begin by uncovering where your creativity lives. We locate, acknowledge and trust the creative spirit.

02

Seeing Things Differently

The eyes lie, in the best possible way. We unlearn visual habits and practise drawing what is really, really, actually there.

03

Smell & Taste

Senses you take for granted. Translating scent and flavour into line, texture and mark — a session unlike any other.

04

Touch

Closing the eyes to truly feel surface, weight, warmth. Out in nature, with trees and roots and stones. Drawing becomes a form of physical memory.

05

Hearing

Sound has shape and you are invited to embody it. Rhythm, silence, voice and vibration each become a gesture, a mark, a composition.

06

Presence & Intuition

The sixth session weaves everything together into the most subtle practice: trusting what you cannot explain.

Most drawing courses teach you to look harder. Sensory Drawing teaches you to feel differently. It is not about accuracy or style — it is about shifting the way you attend to the world. The result is a transformation towards the authentic, unmistakable you, on the drawing page as in life. Many have already discovered this.

6 pre-recorded sessions

Each broken into short segments. Pause, rewind, return. Lifetime access.

Learning to see
is learning to feel

Most of us believe that drawing is a technical skill — that it is about accuracy, proportion, copying the world correctly. Sensory Drawing begins from the opposite direction.

It is a practice of going inwards and opening the senses: slowing down, noticing texture, listening for rhythm, tricking the brain to draw what you feel as much as what you see. The result is a mark-making that expresses the genuine you.

If you are interested in why this works, here is the reason. The brain attends to the world in two distinct ways. One mode — the one most of us live in — names and controls. It is the voice that says that doesn't look right, I can't draw. In life, this mode attends to what is known. The other attends more broadly: it puts things in relation, deals with ambiguity, and listens to the body. It is the mode that finds solutions when we don't know.

Sensory Drawing is a deliberate practice of shifting from the first mode to the second. And this course will show you how.

The Sensory Drawing course you have in front of you was developed and refined over years of art school and teaching in universities, international workshops, and corporate settings. The discovery was always the same: creativity is not a talent. It is a practice of attention.

Where art, nature
and attention meet

Brindusa Burrows is a visual artist and lecturer based in the Swiss Alps. After years of city living and travelling the world, she moved to the mountains — and that is where she learned to be still.

In the quiet of that landscape, she began working with what was around her: bark, leaves, stone. And then with a 268-year-old beech tree that was felled near her home. Pressing its ancient cross-section into paper, she discovered something she had not expected — that drawing from touch, from smell, from the body rather than the eye, unlocked a quality of making she had never accessed before. Sensory Drawing became her go-to creative unblocking tool. And then she began to teach it.

She developed these workshops first for university students, then for corporate teams, then for artists, then for anyone who had ever said "I can't draw." The discovery was always the same: the block was never about ability. It was about attention.

Sustaining Your Practice

The most common question after a creative course is: how do I keep going? This bonus answers it in two parts. First, the small decisions that make creativity sustainable — reducing friction, finding your rhythm, making it easy to begin. Then four ways back in for the moments when the spark has gone. A practical guide to treating creativity as a relationship.

Questions? Answered.

None at all. Sensory Drawing is a practice of attention, not a technical skill. Many of the most transformed participants have been people who said they couldn't draw. That is precisely the starting point.

Paper, a pencil, and objects from around your home. Each session specifies any additional materials — all simple, inexpensive, and mostly already at hand. A full materials guide is included with the course.

Each session is broken into short segments — most between five and twenty minutes. Watch at your own pace, pause, rewind, return. Lifetime access means you can take the whole course in a week or spread it across months.
